Author Guidelines

Abstract

Abstract Format

​

Please utilize our Abstract Template (link) to adhere to the formatting guidelines provided below. Ensure that your abstract follows these specifications:

​​

  • Set all margins (top, bottom, left, and right) to 0.5" (Narrow).

  • Maintain a text size of 12 pt with single spacing in Times New Roman typeface, and justify the text.

  • Typeset the title of the abstract in 14 pt, authors in 11 pt, and affiliations in 10 pt, all using the main text typeface.

  • For table and figure captions, as well as references, use the typeface of the main text and set the point size to 9 pt.

  • The abstract should not exceed one page in length, encompassing text, figures, and references. 

Abstract Submission

  • Please submit your abstract through the "Submission" (link) section located in the upper menu.

  • We exclusively accept electronic submissions in PDF format.

  • Following the submission, please check the confirmation email sent to you regarding the submission.

Presentation

Presentation Format

​

  • Language: All electronic presentations must be in English.​

  • Text: Present concise and well-structured text, focusing on key data that supports your conclusions. Highlight important facts.

  • Fonts: Please use one of the default fonts (ex. Arial) within Windows to avoid compatibility issues.
  • Format: Presentation slides should be formatted to 16:9 aspect ratio.

  • File format: Electronic presentations are accepted in either PDF (*.pdf) or PowerPoint (.pptx) slide format.

  • Copyright Reserved Material: Authors are responsible for ensuring that all components of the poster are free from third-party rights and properly cited.​

Presentation Time Slot

​

  • Plenary Talks: 45 minutes (35 minutes presentation, 10 minutes Q&A)

  • Invited Talks: 25 minutes (20 minutes presentation, 5 minutes Q&A)

  • Oral Presentations: 15 minutes (12 minutes presentation, 3 minutes Q&A)

  • A projector and computer with MS PowerPoint & Adobe Acrobat Reader will be provided. Speakers should bring their presentation on a USB memory stick.

Poster

Poster Format

​

  • All poster presentations must be in English.​

  • Electronic posters are accepted in either PDF (*.pdf) or PowerPoint (.pptx) slide format.

  • Poster layout Dimensions: A0 format (841 x 1189 mm or 33.1 x 46.8 inches, portrait format)

  • Ensure the title and author names are presented in easily readable bold letters at the top of your poster.

  • All text and illustrations should be designed for optimal readability from a distance of 2 meters.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that all components of the poster are free from third-party rights and properly cited.​

Conference Registration

Registration serves as the gateway to participation to the MEMRISYS 2024. Streamlining your experience, we recommend online registration and payment. Attendees across all roles—be they chairpersons, authors, presenting authors, invited/plenary speakers, or steering committee members—are obliged to register.

Secure the early registration rate by completing online registration before September, 2024. The online portal remains accessible until October, 2024, ensuring convenient access and reducing registration queues.

Presenting authors must affirm their participation by the stipulated deadline in their acceptance letter to secure a place in the final conference program.

Each abstract mandates at least one co-author to register, adhering to the policy of one registration per oral presentation/poster.

MEMRISYS 2024 Registration Fees:

FULL RATE

- Early registration (by September, 2024): $ 800 (1,065,000 원)
- Late registration (by October 18th, 2024): $ 880 (1,170,000 원)
- On-site registration: $ 1000 (1,330,000 원)

STUDENT RATE

- Early registration (by September, 2024): $ 450 (600,000 원)
- Late registration (by October 18th, 2024): $ 490 (650,000 원)
- On-site registration: $ 550 (730,000 원)

​

The registration fee encompasses:

- Access to the Plenary Session and all parallel Sessions
- Electronic Abstracts book
- Conference Badge
- Gala Dinner and Welcome Reception
- Refreshments during breaks
- Lunches
- Admission to the poster sessions

Cancellation:

- Cancellation before Oct. 18th, 2024: Full refund
